Bennie (Waleed) R. and Leslie K. Williams

Cigar aficionados Waleed and Leslie bring cigar lovers together in the Nation’s Capital and surrounding states to indulge in a lifestyle, not a hobby. The RichKat brand was birthed as an abbreviation of their middle names, Richard and Katherine. Combined, the husband and wife are 20-year entrepreneurs with extensive experience in the food service, event management and entertainment industries.

For Mr. Williams, cigar smoking is embedded in his lifestyle. He’s been enjoying the storied luxury of puffing Padron Anniversary cigars for over 10-years. The lifestyle offers an experience – one of relaxation, camaraderie, chess and social engagement of friends, business acquaintances, and family. Mr. Williams became part of “The Usual Suspects” at the first African American owned Cigar Lounge, Capital Premium Cigars. He’s currently an active member of the Good Time Gang Cigar Club, headquartered in Washington, D.C. with chapters nationwide.

Hospitality and social engagement are two commonalities of the couple. Mrs. Williams found a sense of sophistication in puffing cigars and designed the mobile cigar lounge as sexy as a speakeasy and as contented as a lounge. Together, through the RichKat brand, the international cigar aficionado duo has traveled to Cuba and Paris enjoying and introducing other men, women and couples to the elegance of the cigar lifestyle.
